Splinters Theatre Group is proud to be affiliated to the National Operatic and Dramatic Association.
NODA was founded in 1899 and has a membership of 2500 amateur and 3000 individual enthusiasts throughout the UK, staging musicals, Operas, plays, concerts and pantomimes in a wide range of venues.
· To give a shared voice to the amateur theatre sector
· To help amateur societies and individuals achieve the highest standards of best practice and performance
· To provide leadership and advice to enable the amateur theatre sector to tackle the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century.
To support the education and information needs of individuals and organisation with high quality services and products that contribute to the success of amateur theatre.
NODA is divided into 11 regions, supported by a network of regional representatives and officers. These volunteers are a vital link to the grass roots of the Association; the amateur theatre groups themselves and their members.
Membership provides theatre groups and individuals with a wide range of benefits including access to NODA’s advice service at national and regional level, as well as access to regional and national conferences, workshops and seminars to help share information on best practice and to provide training.
